This electronic tester provides fast and accurate measurements of pH and chlorine (Cl2) levels, helping you keep your pool or Jacuzzi within safe ranges without chemicals or guesswork. Regular testing is important because unbalanced chlorine and pH can lead to diarrhea and ear or skin infections, while optimal levels keep harmful bacteria under control.
Maintaining the correct pH value also protects your equipment and pool surface: too low pH causes chlorine to dissolve faster, and too high pH inactivates chlorine. Recommended chlorine level is 1.2 to 1.7 ppm, and recommended pH is 7.2 to 7.8 for swimming pools and spas.

I use this for our hot tub and it's pretty reliable. The measurements for pH and chlorine are consistent. The size, about 150mm long, is actually perfect for my gear bag without taking up too much space. Feels sturdy enough for regular use outdoors.
This tester does measure pH and chlorine accurately once it settles. It's a bit slower than I expected to get a stable reading, which can be a small hassle when you're in a hurry. But for the price, it definitely gets the job done for our pond.
