This EPB emergency release tool releases a locked electronic parking brake when the battery dies or the EPB fails. Its 1-second auto-stop prevents motor burnout by cutting power automatically after one second, even if the button is held.
It features dual channels for independent control of left and right rear calipers, with both braking and release modes. The tool includes a replaceable 5A fast-blow fuse for overload protection, reverse polarity protection, and a self-test function. Input is DC 10V-14V, compatible with standard car batteries or jump starters.
Use it when the battery is below 9V, for rear brake pad replacement, when the EPB control module fails, or to move a disabled vehicle without dragging tires. Housing is impact-resistant ABS, and cable is 16AWG.
