Honestly, this thing fooled my mailman! It looks just like a security camera from the street, which is a nice bonus. The solar light itself is pretty bright for our patio entrance. Charges up well even on partly cloudy days.
We put this on the path leading to our side gate. The solar panel catches plenty of sun and it puts out a decent amount of light at night. For thirty-five bucks, you can't really complain about the brightness. It's solid for basic illumination.
My husband mounted this near the garage wall in about five minutes. It really blends in nicely, and the light comes on reliably every night across our yard. It definitely makes you think twice if you're approaching after dark, which is a nice touch.
