I bent the nozzles toward my tomato row and away from the narrow walkway, which made the odd shape of that bed much easier to water. The ground spike stayed where I placed it while the fine, rain-like spray covered the seedlings.
The 9 by 10 cm sprinkler is compact, but the adjustable tubes let me create a pattern for the flower bed rather than soaking one fixed circle. Connecting it to the hose took only a moment after pushing the spike into the soil.
I bought two green sprinklers for separate garden zones so I would not have to keep moving one across the yard. Directing each flexible head around delicate flowers gave me better control than a single harsh stream.
