We took the L size to a concert in the park, and honestly, the ground was a bit dewy. This blanket kept us totally dry and comfortable the whole time. It's way thicker than other picnic mats we've owned, which is great for sitting for hours. Folds up pretty easily too.
Got the M size for my kid's soccer games. This mat folds down really small and the handle is a lifesaver. We toss it in the car without a second thought. It keeps the little ones dry on the sidelines when it's wet. My only wish is more color options than just random.
I ordered the large, which is a good size for me and my two kids. It blocks moisture from the ground really well, which is exactly what we needed for beach trips and camping. It's lightweight enough to carry, but sometimes getting it folded back up perfectly is a bit of a wrestle. Otherwise, it works great!
